Do you ever hear yourself uttering a sentence and think, 'Am I really saying this, unironically, not as a tease or joke?'

Because as I uttered the phrase, "I'm kinda sad that I didn't get to drive the Loch Ness Monster home," to my sister, it is precisely what I thought.
